The Fischer Speedmax 100 Double Poling Sprint Cold is a specially selected top-level racing ski developed specifically for double poling on cold snow and firm tracks.

What sets this version apart is not only its Speedmax 100 racing construction. Each pair has individual measurement values, allowing several pairs of the same model and length to be compared in greater detail.

This allows XCSkiGuru to consider the skier's weight, double-poling technique, power output, skiing level and intended use when selecting a pair.

This level of pair selection is particularly valuable in racing and long-distance skiing, where relatively small differences between individual ski pairs can affect how the ski performs.

Individually measured ski pair

Every specially selected pair has its own individual measurement values.

Double Poling Sprint – purpose-built for double poling

The Double Poling Sprint is not simply a conventional classic racing ski used without grip wax.

Its construction is designed specifically for double poling.

During a powerful pole stroke, the ski is rapidly loaded. Immediately afterwards, it needs to release efficiently into a long and free glide.

The construction is designed to combine:

• controlled loading
• fast release into glide

• full use of the base as a glide surface

With no kick zone required, the ski can be optimized entirely around double poling and glide.

Cold – for cold snow and firm tracks

The Cold version is intended particularly for cold snow and firm tracks.

Under these conditions, the ski's pressure zones, base structure, stone grind and waxing become particularly important.

With a specially selected pair, skis of the same Cold model can also be compared using their individual measurement data.

The Speedmax 100 uses Fischer's lightweight AIR CORE HM Carbon racing construction.

A double-poling ski needs to withstand powerful loading during the pole stroke while retaining a fast, light and responsive feel.

World Cup Plus racing base

The ski features a World Cup Plus racing base.

Base performance is especially important on a double-poling ski because there is no kick zone. The entire base can contribute to glide.

Final performance depends on factors including snow temperature and structure, track firmness, stone grind and waxing.

Cold Base Bonding and Gliding Sidewall

Cold Base Bonding is designed to preserve the characteristics of the racing base during manufacturing and provide a high-quality foundation for further base preparation and stone grinding.

Gliding Sidewall allows the ski's sidewalls to be prepared to help reduce friction.
