Ski poles – the true secret of power

Forget the talk about just the skis – the poles also determine who endures and who gives up .
Lightweight and stiff poles aren't about fancy features; they're about transferring energy directly to the snow . Every extra gram and every wasted millimeter of flex costs speed and energy.

Why invest in walking poles?

-Tube – A higher percentage of carbon fiber doesn't give way → every push translates more into speed.
-Grip & strap – wrong and old strap = blisters. Right strap = pure power and control.
-Ski pole tip – a wrong ski pole tip sinks into the snow. The right one grips and holds. A small ski pole tip is used for racing due to its lightness, and a wider one for training on soft track surfaces.

⚠️ Note on carbon fiber: the lighter and stiffer the pole, the faster and more energy-efficient it is – but at the same time, it is more susceptible to sharp impacts (e.g., if the pole hits a rock or edge of ice). Therefore, a racing pole should only be used on trails where conditions allow.

Length? (Usable length (from strap attachment → to spike))
