Main Difference

Width:

• Narrow = narrower skin, tighter and more precise grip, faster glide with a smaller skin surface

• Wide = wider skin, larger contact area with the snow, more even grip and more stable glide in variable conditions

In practice, the difference affects the grip and glide experience as well as ski compatibility. Narrow is suitable for racing or precision waxing, while Wide is more suitable for general use and variable conditions.
