IDT Skate Elite Pro PU RM2 – ski-like skating roller skis with PU wet-weather wheels

IDT Skate Elite Pro PU RM2 is a performance-oriented skating roller ski for ambitious recreational skiers and competitive athletes. It combines IDT’s long and directionally stable Elite frame with polyurethane wheels designed to provide improved grip on wet and damp asphalt.

The 715 mm aluminium frame creates a calm, stable and highly ski-like feel. The longer wheelbase encourages a complete skating push and proper weight transfer, making the Elite platform particularly effective for transferring summer training to winter skiing.

The key difference between the Pro PU and standard Skate Elite is the wheel compound. The PU wet-weather wheels provide increased confidence and grip on rain-soaked or slippery asphalt while still working well in dry conditions.

RM2 rolling resistance is an excellent all-round training choice. It provides more resistance than RM1 without becoming so heavy that normal technique and rhythm are compromised.

The main advantage of the Pro PU becomes clear on wet asphalt. Better wheel grip helps you maintain a confident and complete skating push instead of shortening the movement because the road feels slippery.

RM2 is an excellent general training resistance for serious skiers. It provides useful training load while still allowing a natural skating rhythm during endurance and technique sessions.

The long 715 mm Elite frame is slightly more demanding than a short skating roller ski, but that is also what gives it its stable and highly ski-like feel.
