Swix VP40 Pro Blue is a competition-level grip wax for cold, freezing conditions. It's designed for fine-grained and dry snow where grip is difficult to achieve without a special wax. VP40 offers an excellent balance of grip and glide in cold conditions and is one of the most popular cold-weather waxes in the VP series.

• Lubrication instructions: Apply several thin layers to the grip base and cork each one → this ensures a more even grip.

• An excellent choice as a base grip wax for cold weather → works for both training and competition.

• Can be combined with colder (e.g. V20/V30) or warmer (e.g. VP45) grip waxes depending on the weather.

• It also works well as a base layer if the weather is changeable and warmer waxes are added on top.
